I knew I had to have this stamp set. I think I would love it even if we didn’t live near the ocean. It’s so pretty! The card is another one of those cards that is so quick you’re done before you realize it. It really surprised me!

I saw this stamp set and thought of my granddaughter. She wears these shoes all the time. You cannot buy this stamp set… You can only get it free during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying order of $50 here in the US. I was kind of surprised how quickly this card went together. I think you can hear that in my voice on the video. This card is an easy one to get started with too. There is no need for a Big Shot Die Cutting Machine or even punches. You can do this!

I designed these cards while recording the video… not usually a good idea. I’m still trying to figure out camera and work space arrangements at my new “Craft Wall.” My thoughts are on the two couples facing difficult times. And I’d never used the stamp set or the Framelits before. Video production quality is not good, but I think you can hear the delight as I worked with the stamp set and Framelits for the first time. I really love the detailed cross piece, though I think I’d recommend the Precision Base Plate on the Big Shot. The spray of flowers was really easy to work with and I think it’s really beautiful!

The new Occasions 2018 and Sale-a-Bration catalogs are now live!!! Yippee! I have posted the labels, stamp case slips, case inserts, and other organizational tools. And the Evernote notes are now in my Current Products notebook. I share that notebook. Just email me to request an invitation. If you are already sharing my notebook, just open Evernote, make sure it starts synchronizing, and those new notes should start showing up automatically. I will be moving the retiring products out of that notebook and into my Retired Products notebook soon. I share that one too, just ask.

But all those tags in Evernote may need some organizing too. They’ll show up for you listed individually and alphabetically. You can group them together in categories so they are easier for you to find. Everyone has their own way of sorting, but this is what makes sense to me. You will not have access to change the tags themselves, but you can organize them they way you want. Or drag them all into “Tags by Bev”, close the category, and you won’t have to see any of them.

Note (4/28/18) I shared the way I can organize the tags. I have since found out you may not be able to move tags around like I can. If that’s the case, I am so sorry!

When you copy notes to your own notebook, you can edit the tags all you want. I didn’t mention in the video, you can rename any tag you have created and Evernote will automatically rename them in all the notes! For instance, I could right-click on say… “treats” and rename it “Treat containers and tags” and the “treat” tag in You’re So Sweet” will automatically be changed to the new “Treat containers and tags.” Is that cool or what?

My list of tags can be found  below, but I wanted to also share some videos from Stampin” Up!

So here is my list of tags. I admit as I was listing them, I realized I should reorganize them a bit better so I did. This is the way I have them now.

Tips and Suggestions

When I was signing up to be a demonstrator, I got stuck. I needed some time and stopped in the middle. Then I couldn’t get back to add to it and it wouldn’t let me start again. I needed to call the wonderful Demonstrator Support people at Stampin’ Up! I didn’t know these details.

  • You can choose any products. You do not need to use the list from Stampin’ Up! or any of the lists below.
  • Your starter kit must be at least $125 in products but you can not get your whole wish list in that first order.
  • Your order cannot go too much over $125. If you can remove the least expensive item and your total is still over $125 you have to remove something from your list. You don’t have to hit $125 exactly. If you go a bit over $125 you will just pay that extra bit.
  • Once that order is started you should complete that order. You can’t go back and start over on the website since their system already has your first order and you don’t yet have your demonstrator number to get back to it. If you get stuck like I did, just call the wonderful and helpful people at Demonstrator Support, (800) 782-6787. They can help you go back to finish your order.
  • It may take a few days to get your paperwork processed. Then you will have a demonstrator number. Once you have that, you can order all you want, saving 20%. Yay!!!
  • To stay active, you need to buy (or sell) $300 per quarter (in the US). If you don’t do that, you will be dropped. But nothing stops you from joining again.

Here are some Starter Kit suggestions.

If you have been stamping for a while. I’m sure you already have your list. Get whatever you want. Just remember it must add up to at least $125 or not too much over. Save the rest of your list for your next order.

But perhaps you are a new stamper and you need some suggestions. Most of these bundles assume you have no stamping supplies except scissors and adhesive. Each list would be great for a beginner stamper or a new demonstrator.

Do not click these links to shop at my store. Click for the supply list and use that when you order your Starter Kit.
