I knew I had to have this stamp set. I think I would love it even if we didn’t live near the ocean. It’s so pretty! The card is another one of those cards that is so quick you’re done before you realize it. It really surprised me!

I saw this stamp set and thought of my granddaughter. She wears these shoes all the time. You cannot buy this stamp set… You can only get it free during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying order of $50 here in the US. I was kind of surprised how quickly this card went together. I think you can hear that in my voice on the video. This card is an easy one to get started with too. There is no need for a Big Shot Die Cutting Machine or even punches. You can do this!

I designed these cards while recording the video… not usually a good idea. I’m still trying to figure out camera and work space arrangements at my new “Craft Wall.” My thoughts are on the two couples facing difficult times. And I’d never used the stamp set or the Framelits before. Video production quality is not good, but I think you can hear the delight as I worked with the stamp set and Framelits for the first time. I really love the detailed cross piece, though I think I’d recommend the Precision Base Plate on the Big Shot. The spray of flowers was really easy to work with and I think it’s really beautiful!

The new Occasions 2018 and Sale-a-Bration catalogs are now live!!! Yippee! I have posted the labels, stamp case slips, case inserts, and other organizational tools. And the Evernote notes are now in my Current Products notebook. I share that notebook. Just email me to request an invitation. If you are already sharing my notebook, just open Evernote, make sure it starts synchronizing, and those new notes should start showing up automatically. I will be moving the retiring products out of that notebook and into my Retired Products notebook soon. I share that one too, just ask.

But all those tags in Evernote may need some organizing too. They’ll show up for you listed individually and alphabetically. You can group them together in categories so they are easier for you to find. Everyone has their own way of sorting, but this is what makes sense to me. You will not have access to change the tags themselves, but you can organize them they way you want. Or drag them all into “Tags by Bev”, close the category, and you won’t have to see any of them.

Note (4/28/18) I shared the way I can organize the tags. I have since found out you may not be able to move tags around like I can. If that’s the case, I am so sorry!

When you copy notes to your own notebook, you can edit the tags all you want. I didn’t mention in the video, you can rename any tag you have created and Evernote will automatically rename them in all the notes! For instance, I could right-click on say… “treats” and rename it “Treat containers and tags” and the “treat” tag in You’re So Sweet” will automatically be changed to the new “Treat containers and tags.” Is that cool or what?

My list of tags can be found  below, but I wanted to also share some videos from Stampin” Up!

There are more videos about products from the Occasions catalog here.

So here is my list of tags. I admit as I was listing them, I realized I should reorganize them a bit better so I did. This is the way I have them now.

Now is a great time to join Stampin’ Up!

Tips and Suggestions

When I was signing up to be a demonstrator, I needed to call the wonderful Demonstrator Support people at Stampin’ Up! I got stuck and thought I was locked out. I didn’t know these details.

  • You can choose any products.
  • Your starter kit must be at least $125 in products but you can not get your whole wish list in that first order.
  • Your order cannot go over $125 more than the value of your least expensive item. Confusing!!! That means if you could remove the least expensive item and your total is still over $125 you have to remove something from your list. But you don’t have to hit $125 exactly. If you go a bit over $125 you will just pay that extra bit.
  • Once that order is started you should complete that order. You can’t go back and start over on the website since their system already has your first order and you don’t yet have your demonstrator number to get back to it. If you get stuck, just call the wonderful and helpful people at Demonstrator Support like I did. (800) 782-6787 They can help you go back to your order.
  • It takes a few days to get your paperwork processed. Then you will have a demonstrator number and you can go back and order all the rest of the items on your wish list at your demonstrator discount price.

Here are some Starter Kit suggestions.

Most of these bundles assume you have no stamping supplies except scissors and adhesive. Each bundle gives you a sampling of stamps, ink, paper, envelopes, and embellishments to make lots of cards and other paper crafts. Each list would be great for a beginner stamper or a new demonstrator. But don’t click these links to buy at my store. Click for the supply list and use that after you click here.

Stampin’ Blends Marker Bundle

Customers can’t buy these just yet, but you can become a demonstrator and get the whole set delivered to you right now! And you’ll only pay $99 for them.

Petal Palette Bundle

It would be nice to add Shimmer Paper, #101910 to this bundle, but that would take you too far over $125

Daisy Delight Bundle

Label Me Pretty Bundle

Lemon Zest Bundle

Basic Tools Bundle

Or perhaps you want to get a “Big Ticket Item.”

Big Shot Bundle

Plus any one Framelit or two Texture Embossing Folders.

$125.00-$150. Remember you will need to pay anything over $125.

Stampin’ Write Markers Bundle

I didn’t know that if you buy the whole set of Stampin’ Write Markers in the 38 core colors at once they come in a wonderful sturdy case that stores each marker horizontally in its own little space. And there’s room for extra pens like the In-Color markers, Project Life Journaling Pens, and Blender Pens.

Stampin’ Up! does not sell this case separately. I wish I’d known before I bought my Stampin’ Write Markers in bits and pieces.

$125 with one of the In Color sets.

If you have been stamping for a while. I’m sure you already have your list. Get whatever you want. Just remember it must add up to $125 or just barely over. Save the rest of your list for your next order.

Your Choice Bundle

  1. Pick one Designer Series Paper

2. Pick one card stock pack (One of these or a single color pack – $8)

3. Pick any four stamp pads (on pages 184-186).

4. Pick a set of Stampin’ Write Markers.

5. Card stock and envelopes in either Very Vanilla or Whisper White.

6. Pick one stamp set and if you select Clear or Photopolymer set, you will need to get blocks.

Here are the Clear Blocks you may need.

Depending on your choices, you may have a bit extra to select. You must spend at least $125. If you go a bit over, you will have to pay the difference. If there is something you can remove and still be over $125, you will have to remove it. So it is helpful to look for inexpensive items to get to that sweet spot. Look at adhesives like Stampin’ Dimensionals, Baker’s Twine or other ribbon, Washi Tape, or embellishments. You may want to buy one of the blocks that is crossed off above. Or buy an extra pack of envelopes, another ink pad, or ink refills.
