I think this holder is perfect for a gift card for your local coffee shop. You can make this gift card holder with the Narrow Notecards and Envelopes or make your own cards and envelopes the way I did with the Envelope Punch Board. I used the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. Use Early Espresso ink and one other color to go with the paper you select. I’m afraid the Coffee Break paper is sold out now, but you could stamp your own images with the coffee bean stamp from the set. My label uses the border stamp from Labels to Love. The greeting from Coffee Café fits perfectly.

I filled my wood crate with birthday candles, candy, and red balloons, but a gift card might fit too. To be honest, I have several little wood crates on my desk holding my paper sampler, little sticky notes, and other odds and ends. I think they’re very cute! They just take a half sheet of card stock.

Oh So Eclectic is oh so beautiful! The stamp set coordinates with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits. The Thinlits have pieces that cut out the insides of flowers (and a diamond) that you can use with or without the piece that cuts around the outside. There is a large piece that cuts the diamond background pattern and a couple of pieces that emboss without cutting. Love it! These product will be in the upcoming 2018-2019 annual catalog, but the bundle price is going away. Now is a good time to buy them and save 10%. Dapper Denim, Rose Red, and Emerald Envy are going away too. I checked last night (5/9/18) and the Rose Red and Dapper Denim card stock and the Emerald Envy ink pad were still available, but the In Colors tend to sell out quickly. The Powder Pink ribbon is actually on sale right now. Time to shop!

As an independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I went to OnStage (a convention) last month and was able to pre-order some of the small sampling of products that will be in the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. I used some of those products in this card. Rooted in Nature is a bit like the beloved Lovely as a Tree. (Don’t worry! That stamp set will be in the new catalog too!) But Rooted in Nature has coordinating Framelits. There are some Thinlits in the set that do not cut, but emboss. Can you see the cluster of three leaves? I embossed with the Thinlit and then cut it out with the matching Framelit.

I’m going to an event with other local demonstrators this weekend and I’m taking this card as a swap. It was a bit of a challenge, because I’ve packed up my retiring products and I haven’t received my larger pre-order. I wanted to try one of the new In Colors, Call Me Clover, but I was not able to buy much card stock in the new colors… not nearly enough to do any large layers for 2 cards. So I decided to use Very Vanilla for most of the card. I used a tiny bit of the Call Me Clover card stock, sponged that color over a portion of the card front, and then stamped over that. I think I’m going to love this new bright green!

I don’t the links for the all the products I used, as they are not yet available to the public. You will have to wait until June 1st…. unless you want to join my team. But you can order the new In Color Stamp Pads in the new case style. And there are few bundles to sample some other products.

But there are a few items everyone can purchase now.

This is a quick and easy card. You will not need a Big Shot, but I did use 3 punches. I’m afraid the gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper® is all sold out. I will miss that paper!!! And the Baker’s Twine and Enamel Shapes are also retiring. But really,  you can make this card with another printed paper and embellishments you may have. I am happy to say that A Good Day will be in the new catalog.

Southern Serenade is a beautiful stamp set with some great sentiments. The large flower stamp shows Fireweed, a flower that grows wild all around Anchorage, where we lived for eight years. The flowers are a vibrant dark pink, very much like the Berry Burst I used on this card. The lower Fireweed blossoms started opening at the beginning of summer, soon after the snow melted. When the top flowers opened, we knew summer was over and it was time for snow again.

The Stamparatus makes stamping easy and it opens up lots of fun techniques! I used it to make a wreath. It’s really easy! If you pre-ordered your Stamparatus, you either have it now or it’s on the way. If you didn’t get to pre-order, they will be available in the new annual catalog that goes live June 1st.
