The Daisy Delight bundle will have you making all kinds of cards. I also used the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper® for this project. The hardest part is deciding which of all the gorgeous designs to use!

I think this is a fabulous beginner project. You could make this card with just the Daisy Delight Bundle, the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, the Whisper White and Night of Navy Card Stock, and the two Classic Stampin’ Pads. The Embossing Paste adds a lot of texture for not much money, but I suppose you could use a different design from the Designer Series Paper. You won’t need a Big Shot. You could cut the banner ends with Snips. You don’t have to use the glitter. You could stamp the flower center instead of the Faceted Gem. You can do this!

Give the gift of an orchid. The salted background provides a lovely texture on the glossy card stock. You can multiple cards without having to carefully position the stamps and Framelits each time. I’ll show you how.

I took a box of supplies on our camping trip to the eastern Sierras. I could have made a dozen different cards with the supplies I brought. I think it’s fun to stamp on the go… unless it gets windy! I made this card for my friend Martha who has a birthday the day this posted.

Make your own Basic Tool Kit to go

I don’t have room to start stamping! This link shows how I’ve packed a card base and layers of every color of card stock, the tool kit, blocks, the Basic Tool Kit, a few stamp sets and 20 stamp pads into just two small boxes. It also has the cutting plan to get a card base, a large layer, and two small layers from a sheet of card stock.

When my husband returned to our campsite after fishing, he took this picture of my camp stamp studio. He thought it was funny to see the hatchet there close at hand. No cards were actually harmed by the hatchet. And yes, my little box is nice and organized, but as soon as I start working I have stuff all over the table.

I love cards that look difficult but really are not. This “Z-Fold” card is just a standard half sheet of card stock folded in half and then one side is folded a second time. The Old Olive and Whisper White strips are folded the exact same way, but reversed when you add it to the card base. The result is impressive!

The stamp set can be found inside the back cover of the 2017-2018 annual catalog. That spot is reserved for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set. Each year, Stampin’ Up! offers a special stamp set. You help RMHC when you buy this set because Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 (US) for each set sold. Stampin’ Up! and demonstrators also give time, money (over $1.5 million), and cards to this organization that provides a place for families to be surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatments far from home.

Don’t buy the Everyday Jars Framelits just for this card. It’s not difficult to “fussy cut” the jar and the lid. But the Framelits also coordinate with the Jar of Love stamp set. I think you may want to buy all three, so I’m including Jar of Love in the links even though it wasn’t used in this card.
