This box is so very beautiful! The Cable Knit folder gives such an impressive texture. Of course, you could expand the gift card to be a full greeting card and putting the embellishment from the box onto the card.
The directions and video show how to make envelopes large enough for the 2 3/4″ cards and small enough for the 3″ box.
I fell in love with this stamp set and the coordinating Framelits. I knew this would be the stamp set for my Christmas cards this year. But I showed this version with my Stampin’ group. It really is a quick project and there are not big lumps to require extra postage. You can make this card in time for this Christmas even if you have a big list.

All Closeout products can be found in the Year-End Closeouts category of the online store and may be added to all order types. Some of these items will only be available while supplies last. Others will return to the regular prices after the sale. I have them posted on my Deals page.
Yep. I’ve got my Christmas cards done and we’re still a week away from Thanksgiving.
The video just shows a couple of quick tips, not how to make the cards themselves. But I am including the directions and the supply list.
I assemble all the parts at once and then assemble them. I keep each part in a little box and I show how to make a quick custom box.
I also share a tip to make getting all those cards into the envelope easily.
I have all the names and addresses for my Christmas cards in an Excel spreadsheet. Here’s how to use the Merge feature in Mailings (in Word) that I use to address all my envelopes. I just set up one envelope the way I want it. I always change the color to match my cards. The video shows how I use a different spreadsheet to make my labels, but the process is the same.
The Stitched from the Heart promotion continues with 25% off selected stamp sets that coordinate with the new fabulous Stitched Shapes Framelits. Those Framelits have been so popular that Stampin’ Up! is about to run out until they can get more delivered. If you want them, buy them today. They will likely be gone when the next promotion starts on Monday, November 21st.
Black Friday starts early with Online Extravaganza happening November 21-28! Who could resist savings up to 40% and 24-hour sales with new products on the first and last day of this event? With the holiday season in full swing everyone could use a little help checking a few things off their gift list. There are embellishments, Big Shot accessories, stamp sets, ink, paper, and some Christmas items that will make getting those Christmas cards done.
Rudolf has a very shiny nose indeed! You could use just the head, but you can also include his whole body! I love the step card. My friend Jeanne shared how to do the cutting for the layout with me. If you change out the decorations, you will need to pay attention if your Designer Series Paper has a one way pattern.
This is my personal Christmas card this year. I just love it! When you pull the ribbon up, the ornament rises and an inside greeting is displayed. There is a pocket that I used for a photo for most. A few people received a gift card in their cards.
We all get inspiration from things we see. There are just a few projects I've shown that are CASEd (Copied and Shared Everything). Most of my cards come from a technique I've seen many places and I've made it my own in some way.
I post photos and directions so you can get inspiration. It's OK to copy them for personal use, but hopefully you will make it your own in some way. If you copy my ideas exactly, please give me credit for it. Do not sell any of my directions or organizing tools.
