Who knew you could make a Halloween card with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set from Stampin’ Up!? This is one for my Getting Started Challenge: Make lots of projects with a few select supplies. Free instructions
So quick and so fun! A bit of Designer Series Paper, a couple of punches, a doily and some candy and you’re ready! We made these with Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper which has subtle Halloween designs as well as generic fall designs. Swap to a different Designer Series Paper and you can use the same A Little Something for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or really any time you want to give a little something.
There are so many things I put on my wish list! I wish I could buy everything in this catalog! Stampin’ Up! has helped us buy more by including 15 bundles! Yay!
If you share my Evernote Current Products notebook, you’ll be happy to know I have all the new products added with the images. I don’t seem to have access to the stamp images in German, but they’re there for French stamps. I think Therese is busy translating the contents for the French stamps. I’d love a volunteer to translate the stamp contents into German.
Also, I have prepared the labels and stamp case slips for the new catalog and they are all posted. I have created the case inserts and just added the images. As soon as I finish this post I’ll upload those as well.
If you don’t have a catalog, there is a link to the online version posted on the right.
Here are just a few of my favorite things.Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
What are some of your favorites?
Some of my favorites are loved by others as well. There is concern that some items may go on backorder (again!). I’m sure Stampin’ Up! expects every product to be loved by all of us, and they try to have plenty ready to ship to us. But they also don’t want inventory sitting in the warehouse. I can’t imagine how they can avoid backorders, but they are trying. There is a new warning on the back cover: Product availability may be limited towards the end of the catalog sales period. Don’t wait to wait too long to put in your order.
Like the other photopolymer stamp sets, it sticks easily to the blocks. The stamp itself is clear (though it may get a bit stained from some inks) and is very easily placed exactly where you want it. The sets have all been priced at $13.95.
I had the Real Red Goodie Gear Kit but wanted to turn some of it into Halloween treats. I used a greeting from Delightful Dozen and Witches’ Brew Washi Tape. You could do the same thing with cellophane bags, tags with Chalk Talk and Bitty Banners Framelits, and Baker’s Twine. Kits make it easy, It’s all coordinated and ready for your greeting. Done!
We all get inspiration from things we see. There are just a few projects I've shown that are CASEd (Copied and Shared Everything). Most of my cards come from a technique I've seen many places and I've made it my own in some way.
I post photos and directions so you can get inspiration. It's OK to copy them for personal use, but hopefully you will make it your own in some way. If you copy my ideas exactly, please give me credit for it. Do not sell any of my directions or organizing tools.
