OnStage is a Stampin’ Up! convention where we see new products and get inspired with new techniques. It’s very exciting! And it’s also so very fun to see demonstrators we’ve met at previous events. And we also trade cards (or just card fronts) and other projects and those are called Swaps. I’m using these as my “Swaps” for OnStage Local in San Diego. I thought it would be fun to have the dragonfly fluttering in front of these dreamy and serene backgrounds. I think you would enjoy making this card too.
And if a Stampin’ Up! event sounds fun, and if you like saving money and learning and getting your hands on new products before they’re available, click here to find out how. What do you have to lose? There’s no obligation to sell and there’s no long-term commitment. You get free products too! Join my team!
I don’t have a crystal ball. The Retiring List won’t be posted until April 10th. But you can be pretty confident that the 2015-2017 colors will be retiring May 31st and they frequently sell out before the catalog period ends. And experience tells me there are other products that will soon be gone forever.
2015-2017 In Colors
If you want Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, or Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink, Stampin’ Up! Markers, card stock, or any of the Designer Series Paper or embellishments with those colors, you better get them now. And don’t forget to stock up on those Ink Refills so your stamp pads and Markers never need to dry out.
Designer Series Paper
Add to this list the Designer Series Paper (DSP). The big color family paper stacks are often carried over into the new catalog and sometimes one or two other DSP designs are too. But other than the Regals, Brights, Subtles, Neutrals, and 2016-2018 DSP stacks, if you want the current DSP, buy it now. It’s likely to be gone soon.
Stampin’ Up! is not likely to carry over any bundles. The individual products may or may not be in the new catalog, but you won’t be able to save that 10% bundle price after May 31st.
I will post the Retiring List as soon as it’s available.
You’re almost out of time to get this stamp set, Designer Tee and you can get it free with a qualifying order ($50 in the U.S.) from the Sale-a-Bration promotion from Stampin’ Up! It was designed to work with the Custom Tee stamp set and the T-Shirt Builders Framelits, but I think it can carry its own weight by itself.
This is a quick gift that would look lovely on your Easter table or just a little treat gift. I used the That’s the Tag bundle. That’s the Tag has greetings for weddings, Mother’s Day, new babies, birthday, congratulations, thinking of you, and thanks. But I wanted it for Easter, so I used Teeny Tiny Wishes. That set has a greeting for just about everything!
OK. I admit. I have a strange sense of humor. I had to put a cupcake under the tire of this sweet food truck. Food trucks are very popular around here. Is that true everywhere? Your truck can sell tacos, hot dogs ice cream, or pancakes as well as cupcakes. There are all kinds of greetings included. And you can even stamp without the window and turn this truck into a UPS, FedEx, or Postal Service truck… or even an ambulance!
The best thing about this stamp set is that you can get it free with a qualifying order. In the U.S. if you order $50 of product (before shipping and tax) you can select this or any one of the 15 (14) Sale-a-Bration products at no charge. But you better hurry! Sale-a-Bration ends March 31st and the products are while supplies last. The tin is already sold out.
We all get inspiration from things we see. There are just a few projects I've shown that are CASEd (Copied and Shared Everything). Most of my cards come from a technique I've seen many places and I've made it my own in some way.
I post photos and directions so you can get inspiration. It's OK to copy them for personal use, but hopefully you will make it your own in some way. If you copy my ideas exactly, please give me credit for it. Do not sell any of my directions or organizing tools.
