I’ve often wondered how long it takes for the glue in the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to dry. Sure, a lot depends on how thick you apply the glue and how humid it is in your area. But as I was baby-sitting my 7 month old grand-baby and waiting for April the Giraffe to have her baby, I thought I would conduct a little experiment. It was a little more active than watching paint dry. So now we’ll all know.
You’re almost out of time to get this stamp set, Designer Tee and you can get it free with a qualifying order ($50 in the U.S.) from the Sale-a-Bration promotion from Stampin’ Up! It was designed to work with the Custom Tee stamp set and the T-Shirt Builders Framelits, but I think it can carry its own weight by itself.
This is a quick gift that would look lovely on your Easter table or just a little treat gift. I used the That’s the Tag bundle. That’s the Tag has greetings for weddings, Mother’s Day, new babies, birthday, congratulations, thinking of you, and thanks. But I wanted it for Easter, so I used Teeny Tiny Wishes. That set has a greeting for just about everything!
This card is simple on the front, but used the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits for the surprise inside. The Thinlits does all the work for you! So fun.
If you are one of the first six people (before 3/31/17) to order Balloon Adventures, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits, or the bundle listing me as your demonstrator, I’ll send you the card stock and envelope free.
This box is so beautiful! And did you notice the Window Box Thinlits coordinates with the Sending Love Designer Series Paper® stack? In the video I shared a couple of tricks for working with the Thinlits. For instance, I put a piece of Washi Tape to mark where to place the trapezoid pieces so they align properly.
Shelly Godby shared a checkbook cover that got me thinking. I used Paisleys & Posies to stamp a cover for a calendar which slips into those checkbook covers. The calendar I made with regulars stamping group has their birthdays, my planned Paper Play dates, the dates for the Stampin’ Up! catalogs and OnStage events, the usual holidays, and also some fun dates like International Lefthander’s Day and National Go Barefoot Day. I’m giving calendars to my family with all their birthdays too. Here’s a link for the 2017 Pocket Calendar insert with no birthdays. You could certainly print one copy, write in your special days, and copy them for your friends and family.
We all get inspiration from things we see. There are just a few projects I've shown that are CASEd (Copied and Shared Everything). Most of my cards come from a technique I've seen many places and I've made it my own in some way.
I post photos and directions so you can get inspiration. It's OK to copy them for personal use, but hopefully you will make it your own in some way. If you copy my ideas exactly, please give me credit for it. Do not sell any of my directions or organizing tools.
