I was so excited to see a zipper card done by Jennifer Pauli. I couldn’t wait to try one. Unzipping the card made me excited to open it and I already knew what was inside! The secret of the zipper is the Framelit with the line of dots. I added lots of shine and glitz. Try it!

I’m participating in a tag swap and I thought I’d post the directions here. It was inspired by the card I’ll be posting on Thursday, so I guess you can consider it a preview. I just love the color combination!

Shelly Godby shared a checkbook cover that got me thinking. I used Paisleys & Posies to stamp a cover for a calendar which slips into those checkbook covers. The calendar I made with regulars stamping group has their birthdays, my planned Paper Play dates, the dates for the Stampin’ Up! catalogs and OnStage events, the usual holidays, and also some fun dates like International Lefthander’s Day and National Go Barefoot Day. I’m giving calendars to my family with all their birthdays too. Here’s a link for the 2017 Pocket Calendar  and 2018 Pocket Calendar insert  with no birthdays. You could certainly print one copy, write in your special days, and copy them for your friends and family.

These treat bags are quick and easy to make. You can punch a hole and tie with the ribbon, but I used hidden thin magnets. The bag will hold four Hershey’s Kisses or a diamond ring.

or search for “Basic Grey Magnetic Discs small”

I also show in the video how to make a cord with the Copper Metallic Thread.

Make this box with the Gift Box Punch Board. It’s one of those extra sizes I added in this expanded chart. Add a tag and a cute little gingerbread man holding shiny peppermint candies. The box is just right to hold a gift card and a few candies.

I used the Triple Banner Punch that can make tags 1″, 1 1/2″, and 2″ wide. The Scallop Tag Topper punch is designed for 2″ wide tags, but I share a tip for making narrower tags.

This box is so very beautiful! The Cable Knit folder gives such an impressive texture. Of course, you could expand the gift card to be a full greeting card and putting the embellishment from the box onto the card.

The directions and video show how to make envelopes large enough for the 2 3/4″ cards and small enough for the 3″ box.
