As an independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I went to OnStage (a convention) last month and was able to pre-order some of the small sampling of products that will be in the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. I used some of those products in this card. Rooted in Nature is a bit like the beloved Lovely as a Tree. (Don’t worry! That stamp set will be in the new catalog too!) But Rooted in Nature has coordinating Framelits. There are some Thinlits in the set that do not cut, but emboss. Can you see the cluster of three leaves? I embossed with the Thinlit and then cut it out with the matching Framelit.

I’m going to an event with other local demonstrators this weekend and I’m taking this card as a swap. It was a bit of a challenge, because I’ve packed up my retiring products and I haven’t received my larger pre-order. I wanted to try one of the new In Colors, Call Me Clover, but I was not able to buy much card stock in the new colors… not nearly enough to do any large layers for 2 cards. So I decided to use Very Vanilla for most of the card. I used a tiny bit of the Call Me Clover card stock, sponged that color over a portion of the card front, and then stamped over that. I think I’m going to love this new bright green!

I don’t the links for the all the products I used, as they are not yet available to the public. You will have to wait until June 1st…. unless you want to join my team. But you can order the new In Color Stamp Pads in the new case style. And there are few bundles to sample some other products.

But there are a few items everyone can purchase now.

I love Petal Palette! It is a large set (It comes in 2 stamp cases!) and has some great images and sentiments too. I used the Thank you, but any of the other sentiments would work just as well. Not only that, Stampin’ Up! offers coordinating Petals & More Thinlits. That makes it easy to put together some beautiful cards. I also used Sheet Music to make my own printed background paper. Sheet Music is actual score: Für Elise, by Beethoven.

I can almost smell the crisp fresh smell of fall leaves. I want to slip on a snugly sweater and the season. The Colorful Seasons Bundle has been very popular and there are great reasons for that. There are wonderful snowflakes, summer beach chairs, and spring flowers. You can make this card with these products from Stampin’ Up!

I’m participating in a tag swap and I thought I’d post the directions here. It was inspired by the card I’ll be posting on Thursday, so I guess you can consider it a preview. I just love the color combination!

Shelly Godby shared a checkbook cover that got me thinking. I used Paisleys & Posies to stamp a cover for a calendar which slips into those checkbook covers. The calendar I made with regulars stamping group has their birthdays, my planned Paper Play dates, the dates for the Stampin’ Up! catalogs and OnStage events, the usual holidays, and also some fun dates like International Lefthander’s Day and National Go Barefoot Day. I’m giving calendars to my family with all their birthdays too. Here’s a link for the 2017 Pocket Calendar  and 2018 Pocket Calendar insert  with no birthdays. You could certainly print one copy, write in your special days, and copy them for your friends and family.
