Sour Cream Treat Container 5-10-14

Sour Cream Treat Container 5-10-14What?  Sour Cream?  What is that about?

Perhaps you remember when some company packaged sour cream like this to be served with a baked potato.

Turns out this is a quick and cute way to package any little treat.  They are especially quick and easy with the Designer Series Paper Stacks with 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ paper.  Make a quick tag with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and you’re practically done!  This little lady bug came from Bug Me which I believe is sold out.  Too bad.  But you could use the same idea with so many different stamps.

Petite Petals Treat Holder 2-8-14

So quick and so elegant!  The Tag Topper Punch makes them quick and easy.  We used the same gold embossing powder, gold foil, sequins, and Washi Tape on all of them, but everyone made them in different colors of card stock.  They all looked great!  I think they would look great in Real Red or really any dark color.  I can see making hundreds of these for wedding or party favors.

The Night of Navy sample has a wider bottom and they fit a Hershey’s Nuggets just right.  Even better, the ones with Almonds come in a matching gold wrapper!

The Envelope Punch Board makes the box easily.  We lined it with the same Designer Series Paper.  It’s just the right size for a gift card, but we put 3 chocolate hearts inside.  The Spiral Flower Die helps make this 3-D flower pretty easily.  It’s not something you could pop in the mail, but it makes a gorgeous gift to hand to a friend.

Snowman Favor 12-7-13

This was an outright copy of Jackie Topa’s snowman.  It was made with the Envelope Punch Board!  It even used the scraps from punching to make the mouth and eyes.  Jackie used the tiny ornament punch for the nose.  Since I don’t own that set of punches, I searched for a substitute.  What could I make a carrot with?  I found the tail feathers of the Bird Builder Punch made a pretty good carrot.

Glittered Lattice Muslin Bag 10-12-13

Glittered Lattice Muslin Bag
Glittered Lattice Muslin Bag 10-12-13

This Mini Muslin Bag was dyed with a sponge and ink, spritzed with alcohol.  It was my sample and I decided to dye the bags dipped in ink and alcohol instead.  I wish I’d taken pictures of the final project.  But the glitter part turned out great!  I keep forgetting we carry Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.  I cut out the sheets with the Lattice die, then sprinkled them with gold glitter.  The extra glitter just brushed off leaving a perfect design.  So beautiful against the darker Cherry Cobbler bags!  We made quick tags to make a perfect gift for neighbors or the hostess of the Christmas party.
