Hold on to Hope

I designed these cards while recording the video… not usually a good idea. I’m still trying to figure out camera and work space arrangements at my new “Craft Wall.” My thoughts are on the two couples facing difficult times. And I’d never used the stamp set or the Framelits before. Video production quality is not …

Another version of the tissue holder

I made a variation of the project I posted earlier here. It’s made the same way, but I switched out the colors and Designer Series Paper and used the Lots of Labels Framelits. There are few other changes. Which one do you like better? Here are the directions for this alternate Tissue Holder   Built …

Better Get Better Tissue Box

This tissue holder makes a lovely and thoughtful gift for friends who have the sniffles. A “To Go” pack of tissues fits perfectly but would need to be hand delivered. You can put in just a couple of tissues for the same effect and you can fold it up to fit in a medium envelope. …

Blended Bloom 7-12-14

Blended Bloom 7-12-14I love this card layout and I love Blended Bloom. That Scallop Tag Topper punch is really pretty versatile!  And of course, the Blendabilities Markers make coloring so fantastic.  This one is Rich Razzleberry, but I offered the choices of Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, and Daffodil Delight and they all looked great!  And look at the matching Very Vintage button and Baker’s Twine!  It’s the Blendabilities Markers!  I do have to confess that I hadn’t been careful when closing my Cherry Cobbler Marker and it’s already dried out!  Word to the wise, check that every pen is closed tight!!!

This is the card that started my push to Stamp Out Fussy Cutting!  Just about every card I’ve seen with this stamp set is cut out, but I hate fussy cutting and some of my customers hate it even more than I do!  (Pat, are you reading this?) So I decided to do the fussy cutting the easy way so I could cut out this flower not only for myself and my customers, but I’ll cut them out for you too!

You’ll see that there are actually 4 layers on this sample, but I really think it’s better without the 2 smaller layers.

Secret Garden Thoughts & Prayers 4-12-14

Secret Garden Thoughts & PrayersThis card was quick and easy.  I show how to use a 2-Way glue pen to make a mask, stamp and emboss, then sponge.

This card could be used for many different occasions.

Remember to allow the glue to dry fully before adhering to the card.  I gave it 20 minutes, but it really wasn’t enough.  You could also try painters’ tape or sticky notes for masking.  You might want to test before using.
