Flight & Airy

This is a card Karen and I made for our little church ministry. Since we make about 28 cards in a few hours, we need to make it fairly simple. Using Designer Series Paper to do most of the work is very helpful! This card is filled with Designer Series Paper and it’s all cut …

Hold on to Hope

I designed these cards while recording the video… not usually a good idea. I’m still trying to figure out camera and work space arrangements at my new “Craft Wall.” My thoughts are on the two couples facing difficult times. And I’d never used the stamp set or the Framelits before. Video production quality is not …

Colorful Fall Season

I can almost smell the crisp fresh smell of fall leaves. I want to slip on a snugly sweater and the season. The Colorful Seasons Bundle has been very popular and there are great reasons for that. There are wonderful snowflakes, summer beach chairs, and spring flowers. You can make this card with these products …

Blended Bloom 7-12-14

Blended Bloom 7-12-14I love this card layout and I love Blended Bloom. That Scallop Tag Topper punch is really pretty versatile!  And of course, the Blendabilities Markers make coloring so fantastic.  This one is Rich Razzleberry, but I offered the choices of Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, and Daffodil Delight and they all looked great!  And look at the matching Very Vintage button and Baker’s Twine!  It’s the Blendabilities Markers!  I do have to confess that I hadn’t been careful when closing my Cherry Cobbler Marker and it’s already dried out!  Word to the wise, check that every pen is closed tight!!!

This is the card that started my push to Stamp Out Fussy Cutting!  Just about every card I’ve seen with this stamp set is cut out, but I hate fussy cutting and some of my customers hate it even more than I do!  (Pat, are you reading this?) So I decided to do the fussy cutting the easy way so I could cut out this flower not only for myself and my customers, but I’ll cut them out for you too!

You’ll see that there are actually 4 layers on this sample, but I really think it’s better without the 2 smaller layers.

Loving Thoughts Wedding Gift Card Holder

Loving Thoughts Wedding 3-8-14This card looks really quite elegant in Elegant Eggplant, but it would look just as wonderful in so many other colors like Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Garden Green, and Rich Razzleberry, just to name a few.  Change out the greeting and it would make a great birthday or thank you card.  In red or green it make a wonderful Christmas card.

A quick slit turns this card into a gift card holder.  How easy is that?

Blooming with Kindness 5-4-13

I love this stamp set!  I didn’t want to show anyone how to make this card because I wanted it to be a special card if I gave it to my stamping friends as a birthday card.  I relented, but I still make this card a lot.  I’ve changed the colors to more somber ones to use as a sympathy card too.  So easy.  So beautiful.  What could be better?   Click for supply list and printable directions.  Blooming with Kindness 5-4-13

Update

What could be better?  How about this card?  I used different colors, embossing, a cut out with my Stamp Out Fussy Cutting pieces, and a paper saving strategy.  Love it!
