Secret Garden Thoughts & Prayers 4-12-14

Secret Garden Thoughts & PrayersThis card was quick and easy.  I show how to use a 2-Way glue pen to make a mask, stamp and emboss, then sponge.

This card could be used for many different occasions.

Remember to allow the glue to dry fully before adhering to the card.  I gave it 20 minutes, but it really wasn’t enough.  You could also try painters’ tape or sticky notes for masking.  You might want to test before using.

Getting Started Challenge – Bride & Groom 3-28-14

Getting Started - Bride and GroomAnother in my Getting Started Challenge.  Stampin’ Up! has border punches and Edgelits to make beautiful borders, but the challenge uses minimal supplies.  I used the Decorative Label Punch to create this border.

I also show how to stamp just part of the greeting with either a marker or a stamp pad.

Getting Started - Bride and Groom openThis card works well as a gift card holder.  Just cut a slit and finish the ends of the slit with a hole punch.  There is still room for signing the card!

Get Well with Pop-Up Tissue Box

Sending a Kiss and a Box of Tissues 1 I used this card to talk about different adhesives, then decided to provide the project planner for it too.

Sending a Kiss and a Box of Tissues 2 It has a pop-up that looks like a box of facial tissues.  It makes a great for a friend with a cold.

I meant to show Crystal Effects better in the video.  Crystal Effects is a very good adhesive, but it can also add a raised glossy layer.  I don’t know if you can see it in this photo, but I used a line of Crystal Effects on the butterfly’s body.
