Autumn Self-Closing Treat Holder

These treat holders are really fun to make. I was excited about the Halloween version! I didn’t have any Halloween greetings and found I could use the Biggest Wish stamp set. The B at the beginning of Birthday and the O at the end of Hello worked perfectly! It was easy to mask off the extra letters when inking and the photopolymer stamps made it so easy to align them just right!

But most of my customers are not at all into Halloween. I decided to turn the project into an Autumn theme. The Witch’s Hat Punch makes a great scarecrow hat. It could also be the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter, a cornucopia basket, or a Santa hat. The video shows the scarecrow version, but I’ve included the supplies for the Halloween and Christmas versions.

September Thank You Cards

I send thank you cards to my customers for their orders. I used this same card for birthday cards and cards for my team. There are some cards I make that I am unsure of, and there are others that make me just make me happy. This was one of those happy cards.

When I send thank you cards for orders, I include a Frequent Shopper chart. For every $50 spent on products, they can fill in one square. They earn $45 of products when all nine squares are filled. This can be a $45 savings on a large order or just $45 worth of products by themselves. This deal is just from me, so to cash in the reward, I need to place the order so I can pay my portion.

I was so sad last week! Someone ordered from me, but they did not check the box allowing Stampin’ Up! to share their contact information. I promise I will not send out lots of spam! I send thank you cards for orders and I send catalogs to people who have shopped with me in the previous year.

Charming & Fancy

Here’s a fancy fold card with lots of charm and shine. My favorite part is the gold border! Since the Silver & Gold paper was only available during Sale-a-Bration, you could also use this technique with the Black & White Designs and the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Papers. I even tried it on the Pool Party sheet of Texture Chic and it worked great!
