Fond of Autumn

I wish my camera skills could catch the sparkle of the Brushed Metallic Card Stock that has been embossed in the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. It’s just gorgeous in real life! You could use this card for a birthday, just a note or a friend card, or a thank you card… just about any autumn occasion.

There are lots of layers on this card, but they really are simple, thanks to the clever Autumn Bouquet Dies. There are three different dies that cut out the shape of the large stamp image. One is very delicate and detailed, but it cuts it out as a background, leaving it attached to the surrounding card stock (I didn’t use the detailed die for this card). Another die is an outline that can either cut out around the detailed background or it can cut the whole stamped image. The third die can cut out the stamped image, but it separates it into four sections. For this card, we stamped the image twice, then quickly added a bit of color with Sponge Daubers. Then we cut one with the outline die and one with the four-section die. Then we stamped and cut out several of the separate acorns, leaves, and flowers.

Tropical Chic Pop Up Wiper Card

The front of this card is beautiful, but wait until you see the inside. It will knock your socks off! I admit I am a sucker for cards with motion. This card not only has a pop up, but also a swing arm that sweeps a greeting up when you open it. The mechanism is …

Rooted in Nature’s Poinsettia

No Christmas stamps? No problem! I used the leaf stamps from Rooted in Nature to make a poinsettia. If you don’t have a stamp that says Merry Christmas, you could write that little bit in by hand. It’s just one stamp set, two inks, and three pieces of paper. You can do this! #simplestamping Click …

Halloween Treat Bag Updated 2018

One of my all time most popular YouTube videos is the treat bag below. I made these in 2015 and you can find the original post here. Shelli Gardner, the cofounder of  Stampin’ Up! had demonstrated a similar project. I CASE’d it, copied it, but made it my own. Since that time, most of the …
