Elegant Gift Box using the new Gift Box Punch Board

Gift Box Punch Board The products from the new Holiday 2014 catalog are here!

This lovely box was made with the Gift Box Punch Board and went together really quickly.  The punch board makes boxes that don’t need any adhesive. The punch board shows 3 sizes of boxes that can be made with 8″ x 8″ card stock.  The video below shows a fourth size box that can also be made with the same size card stock.  These boxes are quite elegant, if I do say so myself.

I decided to demonstrate these boxes at my September Paper Play Day.  Click below for the supply list and directions.

In this video I show how to make an extra size box not shown on the printed chart.  I have a new chart with lots of extra sizes you can make.  Here’s a preview, but the pdf file shows not only the 15 sizes, but an extra 13 for a grand total of 28 boxes you can make with this punch board.

Click here for the full chart. And March 17, 2016 I added a video to explain the footnotes.

  1. Haven’t decided what I’m doing for Valentine goodies, but I know they’re going to be packed in boxes. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us.

*4 To score the diagaonal, slide back to the XL Start Line, then score at the XL Diagonal.

    • 4″ x 4″ x 4″ is the largest box on the chart. It uses 12″ x 12″ card stock and that’s the largest that Stampin’ Up! (and most other standard craft paper suppliers) sells. There may be a way to make a larger box. If you find out how to do it, I’d love to hear. Write back and let me know what you find out.

  2. Hello Bev, thank you for this chart. I was trying to make the small box using the 5×5 paper and was very confused by the *1 footnote. Is there any way you can explain more clearly how that step is performed or point me to a video where it is illustrated? This punch board is awesome and your chart is exactly what I needed to use it to it’s full potential. Thank you!!!
