OnStage At Home

#onstageathome #onstageathome2020

Day 2 of OnStage@Home is over, but we still have one more day. I had my flight and hotel booked in February for OnStage in Salt Lake City. Then came March and we all had to pivot. But I’m enjoying this online version. I miss seeing my friends, for sure! And the excitement might not be quite as high. But I got a good night’s sleep in my own bed and didn’t have to pay to travel.

We still got our bag of goodies. There will be a mystery stamp set still to come. There is always “Prize Patrol” to give out free prizes. This time they called it “Pop Up Prizes. When our number was announced we won the stamp set. Except one group got credits to spend on anything. My group won a mystery stamp set. I can’t wait to find out what it is!

And that bag is wonderful!!! It’s big and sturdy. There’s a padded section at the bottom that zips opens. I set my full size Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in it just to give it some body for the photo, but I may just use this bag for that very purpose!

Day 1 was awards night. We didn’t get to stand or walk across the stage, but my name was posted four times… first to celebrate 10 years as a demonstrator, then I earned these badges I can post on my website. Whoo hoo!!!

I  think one of the biggest advantages of this remote OnStage was the Make & Takes. In other years we got to use new products to make cards and take home samples. This year they called it Stamp & Share. All the projects used the same stamp set and we were able to buy the bundle with the stamp set, punch, Designer Series Paper, braided trim, and the cutest little Lady Bug Embellishments.  It was extra fun because we were given the sizes to cut our card stock and the Designer Series Paper, but because we chose which DSP and we were encouraged to be a little creative with orientation and placement. We didn’t have to buy the bundle, but could substitute other products for an entirely different look using the same basic layout and techniques. And we get to keep that bundle!!! So fun!

Here are my samples. I just love this bundle!!!

I love being part of this wonderful organization! I think you would too!!! If you want an early peek at these products and more, you may think about joining my team!

And more fun tomorrow!

  1. I’m so glad you are enjoying this convention. Your cards are beautiful. Would thetrimmer go in the cold storage section? Keep having fun.

    • The convention at home was great! There is plenty of room in the bag for the Trimmer, but I don’t think I would try putting it on the bottom.
