I have not updated this page since the whole COVID 19 thing started. At the beginning of March, I thought we could still get together and just sit farther apart, cleaning the supplies as we passed them on. Then I realized that was not to be. In April, I was trying to figure out how this will all affect my life each day and what it all meant for my business. As I write this, it’s May. There are people pushing for the restrictions to be lifted and others recommending restrictions be kept for months, seasons, and perhaps years. I’m still trying to figure out how this will affect my life each day. I am in a higher risk category. I plan to continue sheltering in place, even if others start going out and about. My mind would love to know what the future may bring, but with so many unanswered questions, my mind refuses to go there. I need to focus on the present. I can get through today.

I pray for those who are ill. I pray for those who live alone with no one to hug. I pray for those who live paycheck to paycheck and are suddenly unemployed. I pray for those who are working to support all of us new shut-ins. And I especially pray for everyone working in medical facilities, whether doctors, administrators, nurses, cleaning staff, cafeteria workers, and everyone who works behind the scenes on the front lines, going into battle. I am thankful to the grocery store workers, the truck drivers, the folks who work in warehouses that can send our needed supplies to us, and for the postal workers and delivery people who get it to our front doors.

I am thankful that Stampin’ Up! is still making stamps, ink, and paper. They have changed procedures so more people can work from home. They have changed things up in their warehouse to make it safer for those who do go into the manufacturing and shipping facilities as well as the main office. They are still putting out a new catalog that goes live June 3rd. They are still shipping products to our doors. We can still create cards, share ideas, send paper hugs to friends near and far. I think we are very blessed to have a hobby that we can do at home while reaching out to others to spread joy.

Most companies have a mission statement. Stampin’ Up! calls theirs the Statement of the Heart.

To love what we do

and share what we love

As we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments…

In this we make a difference.

That is a statement of my heart. While we can’t gather together at this time, we can still share what we love. I can still share what I’ve been creating. I can continue posting videos and creating resources to help make crafting more convenient for you. I hope you will continue to be creative, and I’d love to help you in that endeavor. If you need a catalog, help with a project, or want to order products, please email me!

You can still order 24/7 and your order will be shipped directly to you in a few days. Please use the host code so I can use the Stampin’ Rewards to support my business. If you are ordering $150 or more, do not use the code so you can keep that benefit for yourself. Click the Shop Now tab for some online shopping strategies including information about the hostess code.

Thank you!

Stay safe at home.
