Pleasant Poppies 7-13-13I’m not sure the White Washing technique shows up in this photo, but it helps to bring out the poppies in real life. I have been trying various ways to use every bit of paper and this was one of those. I cut out both the Daffodil Delight and Baked Brown Sugar layers at the same time. Punch the Oval for the greeting from the center of the Daffodil Delight layer, then divide the rest in fourths to spread out for the border. Add a tiny bit of ribbon. The background is embossed like a watermark. The focal layer is embossed with White Embossing Powder, painted with White Craft ink, then when dry, painted again with the colored ink.
