The Hues of Happiness Suite is gorgeous! I used the whole suite for these cards. I used a bit of Designer Series Paper inside the card and on the envelope. I absolutely love the bright colors. I thought about using the flowers from the paper. Many of them can be cut out using the coordinating dies. Instead, I decided to watercolor the flowers using the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and refill inks. When mixing colors, use colors that are near each other on the color wheel. The primary colors are red, yellow, and blue. You do not want to have all three of those colors mixed together or you’ll get a muddy brown. In other words, don’t mix Daffodil Delight with Gorgeous Grape (a mix of red and blue) or Melon Mambo with Granny Apple Green (a mix of yellow and blue). Mixing Mixing Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo will get you a nice mix of orange. Here’s a pdf copy to print, if you prefer.Click here for the free detailed directions and watch the video below.I included links for the Hues of Color Suite and the Happiness Abounds Bundle as well as the individual products that are in the suite, so if you use the “Add All to the Cart” button, but sure to take the duplicate products from the cart at my Stampin’ Up! store.
