You could make the card without the umbrella, but I think it adds a lot. There are a lot of fun accessories in the die set! I’ve seen lots of other animals wearing the glasses!I usually design my cards on my own. Sometimes I find a layout I like and use it with different stamps and colors. This card was CASE’d from Dawn Griffith who CASE’d the layout from a card by Ascencion Guzman. I did change Dawn’s card a bit. I changed the colors and the Designer Series Paper. I also changed the ballerina to a tight rope walker.I also changed the sizes of the panels so that the white inside layer doesn’t show when the card is closed. And I wanted the hippo to be more upright. I made the top section narrower to give more room to write. The bottom panel is quite a bit larger.
