Products by Color and Color Family

SU Products by ColorHave I mentioned I love organization tools? I usually use Evernote and my Paper Samplers (see Getting Organized) but thought my customers would like to have this low-tech option.

I searched by color and found all the products that coordinate with each of the colors.  There is one page for each color family and one for the In Colors.  You can see which colors have lots of coordinating products.

Teeny Tiny Wishes – Wood Mount

Teeny Tiny wishes Wood Mount in CaseI was just sharing my struggles with getting “Work of Art” into the case and realized I need to share my puzzle solution for “Teeny Tiny Wishes” too.  I bought this set before Stampin’ Up! came out with their new fabulous wood-mount cases.  So I bought some empty cases.  I had to work hard to get all of the stamps from Teeny Tiny Wishes into one box, but I did it!  To help them stay put, I also made a liner with dividers.

The liner is made from a thin cardboard from DSP.  It measures 7″ high x 7 1/2″ wide (if I’ve done my math right.)  Score at 2 1/8, 2 5/8, 3 1/8, 5 1/4, 5 3/4, 6 1/4, 7.

Crease with a bone folder.  You should end up with 2 sections 1 1/8″ wide with 1/2″ up and 1/2″ down to make a divider between each and 3/4″ with another 1/2 up.  Use Sticky Strip to keep the divider sections together.  I used a bit of Snail to hold the divider in the box.

I also made a label to slip under to clear plastic.  It’s posted with other labels in “Getting Organized,” but to make it easier, I’m adding it here too.

Work of Art Puzzle Solution

Work of Art in case

I love this new stamp set in the 14-15 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog!  I was so excited to use it  It’s a wood set, so I dumped all the blocks out so make sure I put the rubber part on the right block.  I’d hate to do them one at a time and end up with a stamp that’s too big for the last block in the set!  I made a couple of really cute cards.

This set is so versatile!  You can use it by itself, or you can quickly add color to other stamp sets with all the swooshes.

And since I’m trying really hard to clean up after myself, I started putting the stamps back in the case.

Oh, oh!

I kept trying every which way and they didn’t all fit back in!  Out of desperation, I checked to see what other demonstrators had done to solve this puzzle.  I wasn’t the only one to have trouble!  But someone figured it out.  There are actually several ways to make them fit, but here’s my own solution.  Put the “answer” into the case!  I printed out a 5″ x 7″ photo and slipped it under the plastic outer layer between the paper label and the case.  Now I just match the picture.
