Envelope Punch Board Gift Card Holder & Envelope 9-14-13

I love the Envelope Punch Board!  Sure, it makes at least 63 sized of envelopes.  But it also makes boxes of all sizes, snowmen, and gift card holders.  When you open this one up the gift card starts to life out of its pocket.  It’s become one of the tools that rate a “close at hand” place in my craft corner.

Thank you, Jackie Topa, for the idea!

The Flip Flop card could not be easier than with the Label Card Thinlit.  Pop less than a half sheet of card stock in the Big Shot with the die and you’re practically done!  But we didn’t just leave it there.  We added some layers, ribbon, and an In-Color Boutique Detail.  We cut “Hi” with one of the extra pieces from the Thinlit set.  A tip:  Use some wax paper between the die and your card stock to help release the paper after cutting.  We stamped with The Best of Flowers set.  Lovely!

I love this stamp set!  I didn’t want to show anyone how to make this card because I wanted it to be a special card if I gave it to my stamping friends as a birthday card.  I relented, but I still make this card a lot.  I’ve changed the colors to more somber ones to use as a sympathy card too.  So easy.  So beautiful.  What could be better?   Click for supply list and printable directions.  Blooming with Kindness 5-4-13

Update

What could be better?  How about this card?  I used different colors, embossing, a cut out with my Stamp Out Fussy Cutting pieces, and a paper saving strategy.  Love it!

This card looks complicated, but it’s just a basic 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base with an extra couple of folds.  We added a panel inside for the view out the window. It folds flat and fits in a normal envelope, but pops up for dimension.  The farther apart you put the folds, the deeper the view.

We made our own printed paper by stamping on Creped Filter Paper.  Cut a slit and fold it back to peek at the larger feather underneath.  I adore the Antique Brads!  We highlighted them by ringing the button with a Scalloped Circle Punch.

This was certainly not my original design but I’ve seen it so many places that I couldn’t begin to identify the person to credit for it.  I know why it’s so popular though.  It’s so easy and so very cute!  Great for neighbors, kids’ classmates, or co-workers.  Merry Christmas!
