A quick card with coordinating stamps and punches. I love the Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper. The Fitting Occasions stamp set makes it easy to fit any occasion.

I love the way the Window Frame Framelits work with simple squares. The balloon’s propeller seems to spin on the tiny brad. This card was fun to make. Best of all, we helped support the Ronald McDonald Charities with the purchase of this stamp. Stampin’ Up! helps us make a difference.

Moving Forward Gate Fold 8-11-12

The joy fold technique on this card is easy, makes great use of paper, and looks pretty fancy. We took a bite of the Mouthwatering watermelon with a scallop circle punch.

I just love these “flip flop” cards! With a little trick with the cutting plates on the Big Shot, use any die to flip back and forth. On one side, the car is empty. But with this 2-step stamp set, you can pack your car with gifts, balloons, or flowers, head off for surfing at the beach, or send a bride and groom off for their honeymoon.

This card uses simple slits and folds to add a 3-D pop to cards. We made them into a birthday cake and on the instructions you’ll see a wedding cake I made with the same method. I have also seen this technique used to make stacked birthday or Christmas gifts or baby’s building blocks. It’s all in the way you decorate it.

Isn’t he cute? He’s made with “Punch Art”, punches stacked together. There’s no stamping. I used glossy paper (no longer available from Stampin’ Up!) which looks especially great run through the Big Shot in an embossing folder. If you don’t have glossy paper you could use Shimmery White card stock and you really don’t need to use a Big Shot.
