Another card using Connie Stewart’s Flash Card template. I love how it is very thrifty with the card stock!

Here’s another sample for my Getting Started challenge. It has a Whisper White Card Base, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive. I think it would be great as birthday card or a thank you card, but I’m showing is as a card for a new baby girl.

Step it up. Stamp the flower 3 times on Melon Mambo card stock. Cut one out on the outline, one on the inner row of petals, and the third around the middle row of petals. Stack them up. You can curl them a bit for even more punch.

Stampin’ Up! is encouraging us to try making videos. I found it’s a lot harder than it seems! It took me several takes and there are still some things I would change. Without trying my hand at editing, I think it’s OK as a first attempt.

So quick and so elegant! The Tag Topper Punch makes them quick and easy. We used the same gold embossing powder, gold foil, sequins, and Washi Tape on all of them, but everyone made them in different colors of card stock. They all looked great! I think they would look great in Real Red or really any dark color. I can see making hundreds of these for wedding or party favors.
The Night of Navy sample has a wider bottom and they fit a Hershey’s Nuggets just right. Even better, the ones with Almonds come in a matching gold wrapper!

What a sweet card! It must be honey from bee that makes it so sweet. The Hexagon Hive Thinlit makes it easy. Tip: Use wax paper from the kitchen between the card stock and the die so the pieces will pop out. Use the cut out hexagons to decorate this card or another one. The hexagon punch works well to show off the flower from the Springtime Hello stamp set.

The Flip Flop card could not be easier than with the Label Card Thinlit. Pop less than a half sheet of card stock in the Big Shot with the die and you’re practically done! But we didn’t just leave it there. We added some layers, ribbon, and an In-Color Boutique Detail. We cut “Hi” with one of the extra pieces from the Thinlit set. A tip: Use some wax paper between the die and your card stock to help release the paper after cutting. We stamped with The Best of Flowers set. Lovely!
