Getting Started – Baby 1

Getting Started - Baby 1Here’s another sample for my Getting Started challenge.  It has a  Whisper White Card Base, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive.  I think it would be great as birthday card or a thank you card, but I’m showing is as a card for a new baby girl.

Getting Started - Baby 1 stepped upStep it up.  Stamp the flower 3 times on Melon Mambo card stock.  Cut one out on the outline, one on the inner row of petals, and the third around the middle row of petals.  Stack them up.  You can curl them a bit for even more punch.

Stampin’ Up! is encouraging us to try making videos.  I found it’s a lot harder than it seems!  It took me several takes and there are still some things I would change.  Without trying my hand at editing, I think it’s OK as a first attempt.

Getting Started – Congratulations 1

Start Challenge - Congratulations with squareThis card has one extra fold that makes it seem so much fancier.  I think it would make a great card for an engagement party or a friend’s promotion.   You could also swap out the greeting and use it for many other events.

I used Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, and Basic Gray.

Getting Started Congratulations

Here’s the same card “stepped up.”  You can cut the circle by hand, but if you have a Big Shot, use the Circle Framelits.
