Ornate Thanks

Do you remember when we would stamp and then decorate by piercing or tearing? My, how far things have come! The dies in this set are so very gorgeous!

I must say the die cutting was tricky on this. The thing that makes is most tricky is that die cutting the edge of a full size card means the long narrow die must go through parallel to the roller in the machine. Any time you cut with a straight edge, it’s best to approach the roller with a corner or the smallest section. There’s just not room for this with the whole card going through. It is doable, especially with the help of Washi Tape or sticky notes and maybe a shim. I think it’s worth the extra effort, don’t you?
