I fell in love with the whole Peony Garden Suite when it was first offered last year. I loved the stamps, the dies, the color combination, the Designer Series Paper, the embossing folder, the Elegant Faceted Gems, and the Vellum Doilies. I’ve nearly gone through another pack of the Designer Series Paper and I just finished the last of the current spool of ribbon. It’s not an inexpensive set, but you can use it in so many ways! I’ve this set a lot! I am so very glad it’s virtually all carrying over into the next annual catalog. The only thing missing will be the Designer Series Paper and the embossing folder, which I will miss terribly!You may look at that flower and think it looks very difficult. And when you open the set of dies, you may be overwhelmed. There are 17 dies in this set! There are dies for each of the stamps with an image plus a lovely scallop border. Take those out and you’ll be left with the pieces you will need to make the flower and leaves. The four pieces on the right side of this image are for the flower and I think you can spot the flower center at the top. Then there are 3 leaves and some strange looking pieces to layer on top of the leaves as highlights.When you watch the video, I think you’ll see it’s very easy to just slide the smallest flower piece into the next until you reach the largest one, then slip in the flower center.You can make this lovely card!Click here for the free detailed directions and watch the video below.You’ll want to order these products from my online store at Stampin’ Up!
