I saw a box made with this pattern a long time ago.I wish I could give credit to whoever shared this box. It was so long ago and I didn’t have the directions, just the sample I made with this heavy duty Specialty Designer Series Paper from the 2012-2013 Annual Catalog. (Yes, that’s how long I’ve saved this box!) I’ve planned to share the design with my SIP Together group. I have kind of been waiting for another heavy-duty paper like that, assuming that our regular DSP would not be sturdy enough. Of course, you can make this box with one sheet of our regular 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock, but I wanted to use a printed paper. I finally decided to try it. It would not do for shipping or to hold anything heavy, but I was surprised how each step of assembly made the box more sturdy. I was excited to demonstrate this box to my stamping friends!And I think this box is a great way to showcase the Tags in Bloom set that you can get free during Sale-a-Bration!Then COVID 19 suddenly making me an elderly shut-in. But thanks to my blog, I can share this project with you, my friend! And since I had already cut the paper I have some sets ready for orders. And though we can’t share hugs, it’s a great way to show a little love with family and neighbors.
