I fell in love with the Peony Garden Suite. I actually loved the color combos of the suite with the Petal Pink, Gray Granite, and Basic Gray. But I was planning this card with my friend, Karen. We work together to make and send cards to a group of people in our church. Working together these days means planning cards together, but making them separately. (We long for the day we can work together in the same place again!) Anyway, Karen did not have Petal Pink or Gray Granite. I searched Google Images and found that yes, many peonies are pink, but they are also deep burgundy, purple, yellow, and orange. We both had Bumblebee card stock, so that’s what we used. We thought about using the wonderful coordinating Peony Dies, but when you’re wanting to make 20 cards quickly, the fewer times through the die cutting and embossing machine the better. I just love the Hippo & Friends Dies!
