Stamps
Yep. Stamps, Ink, & Paper are what we’re all about. And when you get started with paper crafting, that’s what you will want to invest in first. So lets start on this page about the stamps. Then I would suggest you move on to my page about Color (ink and paper). You will probably also want to read my pages about Cutting and Scoring, Adhesives, and More. What’s So Special about Stamps from Stampin’ Up!
Stampin’ Up! sells quality red rubber and clear photopolymer stamps in sets. Virtually all the red rubber sets are now “Cling.” They have the same quality red rubber with padding but they come with a very sticky label to help them cling to the clear blocks. They come pre-cut on a sheet. You will remove them from the sheet and add the label. The photopolymer stamps are clear and do not have the padding. The clear stamps are very easy to use for precise placement. Since they do not have the padding, it’s best to use the Stampin’ Pierce Mat under your paper. You will need Clear Blocks for your cling or photopolymer stamps. The catalogs now suggest the sizes you will need for each stamp set. You can probably get by with the D Block for most stamp sets, but the better the fit, the easier it is to get a good image without ink in the wrong place.
Only a few of the large background stamps will be offered in Wood Mount and only in the US and Canada.Shop stamps
