Southern Serenade

Southern Serenade is a beautiful stamp set with some great sentiments. The large flower stamp shows Fireweed, a flower that grows wild all around Anchorage, where we lived for eight years. The flowers are a vibrant dark pink, very much like the Berry Burst I used on this card. The lower Fireweed blossoms started opening at the beginning of summer, soon after the snow melted. When the top flowers opened, we knew summer was over and it was time for snow again.

The Stamparatus makes stamping easy and it opens up lots of fun techniques! I used it to make a wreath. It’s really easy! If you pre-ordered your Stamparatus, you either have it now or it’s on the way. If you didn’t get to pre-order, they will be available in the new annual catalog that goes live June 1st.

What a sweet “friend” card and such a versatile design! Thank you for the Stamparatus tips as well.
