Margie V. recently asked me to make a cheat sheet for the Envelope Punch Board like I’m made for the Gift Bag Punch Board. I’d made that one because I found the directions very confusing and I needed the cheat sheet to figure it out. Honestly, I think the hardest thing about the Envelope Punch Board is understanding you only need to measure for that very first “Punch and Score” step. After that it’s just a matter of turning and lining up the score line with the pointer. But the directions are covered up when you’re working with the punch board, so here’s the cheat sheet. If you print it on card stock, you can stand it up while you’re working. Then slip the cheat sheet under the pointer for storage.
Click here for the Envelope Punch Board Cheat Sheet. This seems to show up as a thumbnail, but if you click the image, it should show up as a full size file. You can then print or download. If you decide to print, you may want to make sure it prints in landscape.
The back side of the cheat sheet has directions for using the Envelope Punch Board to make boxes. I will post a video for that next week.
