I love this idea. What pound of cardstock do you use for making the boxes for the ink pads? I have alot of 65 lb cardstock and was wondering if that would be okay to use.
Thanks.
Chris
I used Stampin’ Up! card stock, matching the card stock to the ink color. I understand the regular Stampin’ Up! card stock is 80 lb. The regular Designer Series Paper is 65 lb. I would recommend something a little heaver. If you want to use 65 lb, I’d reinforce the box sides by adding an extra layer on the sides and probably not stack them very high. But what do you have to lose? Try a few to see if they work.
I love this idea. Such a clever way of storing ink pads in a small space. Where did get the foam core?
Thank you so much for sharing your idea!
Welcome! I’m so glad you found me. You can find foam core boards at any craft or art supply store.
