Keep It Clear

Merry Christmas! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I hope you have a wonderful day full of warmth and family. I’m sure we’re all busy this time of year. In addition to the usual shopping, wrapping, and cooking, I’ll be attending the Christmas Eve services at church. I’ll be spending time with my kids and grandchildren. I’m also preparing for the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalog and the January-February Sale-a-Bration brochure. I am taking a bit of a break from my usual projects.

I’m known for my organizational resources. I provide free stamp case slips, large labels, small labels, color tools including DSP samplers and color charts, and case inserts for everything I can think of that might fit into a stamp case. (I’ll be posting the resources for the new mini and SAB brochure on January 4th when those catalogs go live.)

I share my Evernote notes that become a searchable catalog. You can search by name, color, phrases and images in stamps, all the tools, embellishments… basically anything you might want. You can create a new notebook for the products you own and copy my notes into your notebook. Then you can to look for the products you want on your computer or phone.

I’ve also shared In 2017 I shared another video called Keep It Clean where I shared how to clean Paper Snips, Paper Trimmers, Silicone Craft Mat, and more. I still use most of those strategies, though we have new versions of several of those products.

I sign my emails “More organization means more time for crafting!” That does not mean that my desk is always clean and organized. (Oh, if it were only so!) But I do have a place for things and can put my things in their places fairly quickly. More importantly, I can usually find what I want pretty quickly.

I believe we need to know what we own, know where to find it, and have it in good working order when we need it.

Today’s video is about keeping your clear blocks clear.

Our Clear Blocks should be clean and clear so our stamp stick to the blocks and so we can look through to see where we are stamping. But they can get adhesive, ink, finger prints, and all kinds of smudges. They can also get scratches that make them difficult to see through.

Here are some products that help. You can probably find all of these at a local store, but here are some links to find them online.
Goo Gone
Hand Sanitizer
Alcohol Wipes
Lens Wipes
Novus Plastic Polish Kit and when I looked for a link on Amazon, I found there is a #3 bottle for heavy scratches. I’ve just ordered some!!!
Microfiber Cloths or if you want to spend $19 for a single cloth, go to the Apple Store! I’ll be saving my money for Stampin’ Up! products and I’ll get my cloths free from my eye doctor.

If you are reading this in an email you may not see all the links and images. Click here to see it all online.

If you would like a copy of the current catalogs, just email me for details.
