I showed a card using this same layout last week. I just love it! I thought I would stamp on the Designer Series Paper for this card. And this Designer Series Paper pack is a MUST! I punched the fish and fins from the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper for a touch of sparkle and I brushed a bit more sparkle with some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the seaweed.

Coming Up Carrots!

Here in southern California, we get seasons changing day to day. Last year’s tomatoes are still producing now and then and I’ve got Irises blooming. Christmas day it was 80 degrees, but the last two weeks we’ve been having severe weather warnings and flooding. Perhaps tomorrow will look like spring. I know. Much of the country is buried under snow and in Anchorage, where we used to live, spring is 4 months away. But perhaps this card will bring warmth and lift the spirits for all of us! Everything is coming up carrots!

2023 Pocket Calendar

You can make this pocket calendar for yourself or your friends. Truth be told, I use the calendar on my phone. I have my phone with me, so I can easily make appointments or reschedule something. Plus it synchronizes with the calendar on my laptop. But I do keep a calendar like this on my desk with all the birthdays for my friends and family, when I plan to post a project video, and when the new catalogs are coming out. I also make calendars for my customers with the holidays, Stampin’ Up! catalog releases, and my regularly scheduled workshops. They really do seem to appreciate them! (I do let them know that my plans may change and to verify dates with me.)

I designed these calendars to fit in clear checkbook covers. They protect your calendar if you are carrying it around every day in your pocket or purse. You can get the checkbook covers at Amazon. Prices become very reasonable if you buy 25 or more at a time!

Here is the pdf version of the printable calendar and here it is as a Word document so you can edit it. Be sure to print it two-sided, flipping on the short side.
